About these terms

These terms govern access to Oreeva's websites, booking pages, dashboards, and related services. By creating an account or using Oreeva, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you use Oreeva for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business.

Who may use Oreeva

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract to create a business-owner account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. A client who is under 18 must use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian and subject to the beauty business's rules for the requested service.

What Oreeva provides

Oreeva provides software that helps independent beauty businesses publish services and availability, accept bookings, collect booking payments through Paystack, and communicate booking updates. Oreeva is not the beauty-service provider, employer, agent, partner, or representative of a listed business. Each business is independently responsible for its services, licences, qualifications, premises, hygiene, safety, availability, pricing, customer care, and compliance with applicable law.

Business-owner responsibilities

Business owners must keep their service descriptions, prices, locations, availability, deposit requirements, contact details, payout information, and cancellation terms accurate. They must honour confirmed bookings, provide services with reasonable care and skill, protect client information, and respond promptly when a service cannot be provided as agreed.

A business may use client information obtained through Oreeva only to manage the relevant booking, provide the requested service, meet legal obligations, and communicate as the client reasonably expects.

Bookings

A displayed time remains available until the required online payment is successfully confirmed. A booking is confirmed only when Oreeva displays or sends a confirmation. Clients must review the service, business, location, date and time, amount charged online, any balance due, and cancellation policy before paying.

The beauty business, not Oreeva, performs the booked service. Questions about the suitability, safety, timing, or result of a beauty service should be raised with that business before payment or attendance.

Cancellations, refunds, and disputes

The cancellation policy displayed at checkout forms part of the booking. It must be clear, reasonable, and consistent with applicable consumer law. Nothing in a business's policy or these terms removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply where a service is not supplied, is materially delayed, or is not provided with reasonable care and skill.

When a cancellation qualifies for a refund, Oreeva may initiate or track the refund through Paystack. A refund is not complete merely because it is requested or marked as processing; completion depends on confirmation from Paystack and the relevant financial institutions. Processing time may vary by payment method and bank.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password, email account, devices, and access to your Oreeva account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not share an account in a way that defeats security controls, impersonate another person, or interfere with another business's bookings.

Acceptable use

You must not use Oreeva unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or to harm another person. Prohibited conduct includes publishing false or infringing content, sending unsolicited communications, probing or disrupting the service, introducing malicious code, scraping protected data, manipulating bookings or payments, or using personal information outside the purpose for which it was provided.

Your content

You retain ownership of business names, descriptions, logos, photographs, policies, and other content you provide. You grant Oreeva a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote your published Oreeva booking page. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you upload.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Oreeva and request account closure by contacting support. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud or illegality, respond to a security risk, comply with law, or address a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Account closure does not cancel obligations or confirmed bookings that arose before closure. We may retain records where required for payment reconciliation, disputes, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance, as explained in the privacy policy.

Responsibility and liability

Each party remains responsible for loss caused by its breach of these terms, negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct, or violation of law. To the extent permitted by law, Oreeva is not responsible for the quality or outcome of an independently provided beauty service, inaccurate information supplied by a business or client, or loss caused solely by a third-party system outside Oreeva's reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights, warranties, duties, or remedies that Nigerian law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. The effective date identifies the current version. We will give account owners reasonable notice of a material change and request renewed acceptance when required. Continued use after the effective date of a properly notified change means you accept the updated terms, except where law requires express consent.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties should first try in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting support@useoreeva.com.
